Principal’s Message

Greetings to one and all!
Welcome to Govt. Utkrisht Senior Secondary School Jhakri Teh. Rampur Bushahr Distt. Shimla HP. I am glad that you have chosen to be a part of this family to pursue your academic journey. Since our inception in 1982, the school has grown in stature and added feathers every year in the field of academics, sports, cultural exploration and extra-curricular activities. We, at Government School, Jhakri, believe that honesty and excellence in education is vital for the holistic growth of the society and our School motto 'सा विद्या या विमुक्तये' further concretizes our belief that only knowledge can provide complete liberation to a human mind and enrich the personality with critical thinking, harmony and positive attitude. The strength of our institution lies in its values. Our values are the backbone of the institution. We envision ourselves as the builders of the nation. Among many values there are two that are dear to the institution. First, the school caters to multi-cultural students of Kullu, Kinnaur, Shimla, other states (Utrakhand,Bihar,Jharkhand)and Nepal, being an institution of high principles and values, we believe in quality education and cultural inclusiveness. Therefore, the school becomes a distinctive space for the interaction of these age-old cultures. Building from the first point, at Government school Jhakri, we see our diversity amongst our students as our strength. Thus, the message we pass on to the students covers large percentage of the areas of the state. We understand our large strength of students and thus, we stress upon the positive interaction of humans with nature. Our rigorous effort to inculcate the value of sustainable development and ecological awareness within and outside the campus through community outreach programmes is evident through our ‘Green Campus Initiative’ and school volunteer groups (NCC, NSS, Scott and Guide, Eco Club ). These diverse set of meaningful practices makes us realize our significant role in building future citizens and leaders of the country. During your time at the school, we will provide ample opportunities to learn and grow intellectually and spiritually. We have a well-structured academic environment and life altering extra- curricular activities that are guided and mentored by our dedicated faculty and supporting staff. I hope this meaningful interaction will encourage you to generate new ideas, increase knowledge and enhance your skills that are required in today’s fast changing world. राजकीय उत्कृष्ट वरिष्ठ माध्यमिक विद्यालय, झाकड़ी (तहसील रामपुर बुशहर, जिला शिमला, हिमाचल प्रदेश) में आपका हार्दिक स्वागत है। मुझे अत्यंत प्रसन्नता है कि आपने अपनी शैक्षणिक यात्रा के लिए हमारे विद्यालय परिवार का हिस्सा बनने का निर्णय लिया है। 1982 में स्थापना के बाद से हमारा विद्यालय निरंतर प्रगति कर रहा है और प्रत्येक वर्ष शैक्षणिक, खेल, सांस्कृतिक तथा सह-पाठ्यक्रम गतिविधियों के क्षेत्र में नई उपलब्धियाँ प्राप्त कर रहा है। राजकीय विद्यालय झाकड़ी में हम मानते हैं कि ईमानदारी और उत्कृष्ट शिक्षा समाज के समग्र विकास के लिए अत्यंत आवश्यक हैं। हमारा विद्यालय का आदर्श वाक्य “सा विद्या या विमुक्तये” इस विश्वास को और सुदृढ़ करता है कि सच्चा ज्ञान मनुष्य के मन को मुक्त करता है तथा उसके व्यक्तित्व को सकारात्मक सोच, सामंजस्य और विवेकपूर्ण दृष्टिकोण से समृद्ध बनाता है। हमारे संस्थान की सबसे बड़ी शक्ति उसके मूल्य (Values) हैं। हम स्वयं को राष्ट्र निर्माण के निर्माता के रूप में देखते हैं। हमारा विद्यालय कुल्लू, किन्नौर, शिमला तथा अन्य राज्यों जैसे उत्तराखंड, बिहार, झारखंड और नेपाल से आने वाले विविध सांस्कृतिक पृष्ठभूमि के विद्यार्थियों का स्वागत करता है। इस प्रकार हमारा विद्यालय विभिन्न संस्कृतियों के आपसी संवाद और सामंजस्य का एक विशिष्ट मंच बन जाता है। हम अपने विद्यार्थियों की इस विविधता को अपनी सबसे बड़ी ताकत मानते हैं। हम अपने विद्यार्थियों की बड़ी संख्या को ध्यान में रखते हुए मानव और प्रकृति के सकारात्मक संबंध पर भी विशेष बल देते हैं। विद्यालय परिसर और समुदाय के भीतर सतत विकास और पर्यावरण जागरूकता को बढ़ावा देने के लिए हम ‘ग्रीन कैंपस पहल’ तथा विभिन्न स्वयंसेवी समूहों जैसे एनसीसी, एनएसएस, स्काउट्स एवं गाइड्स तथा इको क्लब के माध्यम से सक्रिय प्रयास करते हैं। ये सभी गतिविधियाँ हमें देश के भविष्य के जिम्मेदार नागरिक और नेता तैयार करने में सहायक बनाती हैं। विद्यालय में अपने अध्ययन काल के दौरान आपको बौद्धिक और आध्यात्मिक रूप से सीखने तथा विकसित होने के पर्याप्त अवसर मिलेंगे। हमारे यहाँ एक सुव्यवस्थित शैक्षणिक वातावरण है तथा अनेक जीवनोपयोगी सह-पाठ्यक्रम गतिविधियाँ हैं, जिन्हें हमारे समर्पित शिक्षक और सहयोगी कर्मचारी मार्गदर्शन प्रदान करते हैं। हमें विश्वास है कि यह सार्थक वातावरण आपको नए विचार उत्पन्न करने, ज्ञान बढ़ाने और आधुनिक युग की आवश्यकताओं के अनुरूप कौशल विकसित करने के लिए प्रेरित करेगा। मैं आप सभी का राजकीय उत्कृष्ट वरिष्ठ माध्यमिक विद्यालय, झाकड़ी में हार्दिक स्वागत करता हूँ। इस विद्यालय का चयन करके आपने ऐसे संस्थान को चुना है जहाँ डिजिटल स्मार्ट कक्षाएँ, पुस्तकालय, विशाल परिसर, बड़ा खेल मैदान, सुसज्जित प्रयोगशालाएँ और कैंटीन जैसी सुविधाएँ उपलब्ध हैं। यह हमारी लंबी, ज्ञानवर्धक और सफल शैक्षणिक यात्रा की शुरुआत है।
